Soon there will be a new asphalt road to Kampung (village) MAT DARLING, a village in the most remote district in Pahang. Access is by boat and on off road tracks provided by Middleearth Motel and Cafe, a Jerantut base eco-tourism company. The off-road track will pass through the oldest rainforest in the world. Mat Darling is famous for ikan kelah (scientific name Tor, acrossocheilus).
